The ddroidd AI Internship is a 10-week paid program starting on September 29, designed for tech-savvy, curious individuals ready to build with real AI tools in a production context. Applications are open until August 22.
The internship is hybrid and will take place in our Cluj-Napoca and Iași offices, with interns expected to work from the office 2 days per week. The rest of the time, you’ll collaborate remotely with your mentors and peers.
You’ll work alongside experienced developers and explore modern AI development frameworks and LLM-based architectures working on practical AI-first microprojects.
Must-Have Skills
- Python – good knowledge, ability to write clean and reusable code
- Understanding of software engineering best practices (e.g. SOLID principles)
- Proactive mindset – willing to learn and experiment with emerging tools
- Strong interest in AI/ML development, not just theoretical curiosity
Nice-to-Have (AI-Focused)
Experience or familiarity with:
- Langchain, LangGraph, LangSmith, CrewAI, or similar frameworks
- Vector stores (FAISS, ChromaDB, Weaviate, etc.)
- Building LLM-based workflows:
- AI Agents / Multi-agent architectures
- RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines
- Prompt engineering & chaining tools
What You’ll Work On
- Build and test micro-projects using AI frameworks
- Prototype RAG pipelines or AI agent flows with real data
- Integrate vector databases and embedding models
- Learn from experienced devs through pair programming and code reviews
- Present your work at the end of the internship in a short demo session
