Business challenge

Lewis Silkin needed help elevating its digital experience by upgrading the website to the Sitecore XMC solution, while implementing a complete UI/UX revamp based on designs from a 3rd party agency. The project also required seamless content migration from 4 external systems with different data structures.

Our technical approach

We started the project with a 3-week Discovery phase, collaborating with the client to refine requirements and establish the optimal technical strategy. Our senior Sitecore architects played a key role in providing technical consultancy, advising on how to use the new Sitecore platform best to minimize development time by creating variations of the base components.

The final solution was built on the Sitecore XMCloud platform, with Next.js powering the front end and .NET handling the back end. We have developed also a content migration framework to ensure a smooth transition from multiple legacy systems, each with a specific data structure.

After going live, we ensured a smooth transition into Application Management by providing ongoing support and continuous improvements, maintaining platform performance and stability.

Overcame Sitecore XMC's technical limitations since XMC was still being developed while we were implementing the project
