Client success story: Procast Event Forecasting Tool  

We’re excited to highlight a successful partnership with Procast, where we developed a robust technology solution to help event professionals move beyond outdated spreadsheets. Our collaboration enabled them to gain real-time clarity, control, and confidence over their event finances, improving their overall event planning process.

The Challenge  

Procast needed a comprehensive platform to streamline event management by providing a collaborative workspace and real-time financial reporting. They sought a scalable, multi-tenant application that could handle different user roles, ensuring smooth management of budgeting and reconciliation cycles.

Our Approach  

We took the time to understand Procast’s unique needs and vision. From there, we designed and built Procast Web, a flexible, scalable platform powered by React for the front end and ASP.NET Core for the back end. Hosted on Azure App Services, Procast Web enables seamless multi-tenancy, guaranteeing data privacy for all users. The platform’s architecture allows easy integration with ERPs. It delivers key features like collaborative budgeting, real-time transaction tracking, scenario planning, and multi-currency support, ensuring users can easily manage complex events.

Collaboration & Execution  

Through close collaboration, Procast’s team made the success of this project possible. Our scrum, agile team worked in sync with theirs, holding regular meetings to refine requirements and overcome technical challenges. With an Agile approach, we remained aligned with Procast’s business objectives, delivering the solution on time and within scope.

The Outcome  

Phase 1 of the project was a resounding success. Procast is a scalable, efficient tool for managing event forecasting, budgeting, and financial performance. We also ensured a smooth handover to Procast’s team, providing technical training to empower them to manage and build upon the platform in the future.
