The UK has multiple tariff types available for home consumers. myenergi collects these tariff details from energy suppliers, and displays them within the myaccount portal using various features built and managed by ddroidd:
For the energy providers that allow this, there is a daily job that imports the data into the database to display the users’ available tariffs for the next 24-hours.
Customers have a dedicated section in the myaccount feature where they can input multiple tariff periods, as per their contract, to determine their usage and display their budget.
Based on the variable energy tariffs, an algorithmic scheduler provides suggestions for users on the best time to charge their car and heat the water in their tanks. Additionally, users can create custom schedules for their myenergi devices, such as:
“charge my car/heat my water tank when the price is below x pence/hour”
“charge my car/heat my water tank every x days from 1 o’clock to 2 o’clock”
“charge my car/heat my water tank one time on TUE at 2PM”
A feature present both in the app and myaccount allows users to visualise:
The data can be checked for multiple intervals: today, yesterday, this week. Users can also check this data per device for these intervals.
